• Katelyn Kusmirski

    Katelyn Kusmirski is a Sheridan College Graduate in the field of Early Childhood Education. Katelyn has had extensive dance training since early childhood at LCSD in the many various dance forms such as Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern and Hip Hop. She has been attending the Students Honours Intensive Program (S.H.I.P) at the University of Buffalo in association with Dance Masters of America. She has had the opportunity to work with many great choreographers and taken part in dance, wellness, kinesiology, musical theatre, and acting & voice classes.

    Katelyn has performed in the Nutcracker with the Canadian Youth Ballet, Kiev Ballet Dancers of Russia and with the Ballet Quest de Montreal. She has competed in competitions across North America and participated in the opening ceremonies at the 2007 FIFA World Cup in Toronto as a Hip Hop dancer. She has successfully completed the Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams and received her Student's Teacher's certificate with the Royal Academy of Dance.

    Katelyn’s exciting and enthusiastic personality is evident in her teaching and she welcomes the LLDS students to her classes.
